Reunion March 2001.
2001 was the 80th anniversary of the formation
of the RAAF. Air Force Week was 26th March to 1st April and the RAAF Association held a march through the streets of Brisbane
on the Sunday morning and the Radschool Association took part in it. The march was a little different to ANZAC Day in that
the ATC cadets lead the march and carried all the banners and everyone else just falls in behind.
The Radschool Reunion
was held on the Saturday night (31st March) at the Bookmakers Club. A great night was had by all who attended with many a
story being told and old memories revived.
The Radschool Assn are planning the next reunion for Saturday 23rd April
2005 in Brisbane, followed by a day cruise on Sunday 24th to Tangalooma and the ANZAC Day march on Monday 25th.
